New Colored Designs for the Holidays

Have you ever resisted learning something new because you didn’t want to suck?

When I launched Embroidog in September, I sent my parents a link. One of the suggestions they had was to make colored designs in addition to the silhouettes. Great idea. But I'm not artistic at all. My brother got all the artistic genes. After all, he pursued architecture and I pursued healthcare. So how was I going to create these colored designs?
 
After procrastinating for 2 months, I remembered that to make some of the dog club designs, I had to learn to use Photopea. It sucked at first and I felt incredibly stupid, but in the end I found that 1) avoiding it made it worse 2) the first step is the hardest 3) once I started it wasn’t that bad because 4) I can learn things! 
 
So I finally downloaded Procreate, started watching YouTube tutorials, and embraced being a beginner so that you can have embroidered dog designs in color!
